E. Essential Requirements:


1. No history of child abuse or negligence
2. Minimum of a high school diploma.
General Responsibilities:?To clean, sanitize, and make minor repairs to the Brook?
Valley School buildings and grounds. Monitor safety of the
environment.

F. Essential Responsibilities:


1. Maintains the daily routine for cleaning and making repairs in the building according to the checklist.
2. Maintains the weekly routine for cleaning the building and making repairs according to the checklist.
3. Assists with building arrangements when meetings/events will be held as requested.
4. Maintains grounds upkeep and appearance at all times.
5. Communicate to and obtain approval from building administrator when staff makes a request for maintenance assistance.?
6. Maintains the major yearly cleaning items during off school calendar days.
7. Becomes familiar with and implements universal health precautions to insure a safe environment for children and adults.
8. Maintains and organizes all MSDS sheets for all cleaning products used in the buildings.
9. Completes monthly quality checklist on building safety and turns into building administrator on the first of each month.
10. Completes daily playground checklist and turns into building administrator at the end of every day.
11. Communicates and obtains approval from building administrator for materials/gas purchased.
12. Provided all receipts for materials/gas purchased without tax to the building administrator.
13. Participates with in-service training and staff development as requested.
14. Performs other duties as assigned by building administrator.
15. Provides own transportation to fulfill responsibilities of position.
16. Understand and comply with the ESU #3 Board of Education Personnel Policies and Employee Handbook.


17. Communicate areas of concern to building administrator.

At Will Employment:?Employment with ESU #3 is not for any period of time, and employment may be terminated at any time at the convenience of the terminating party, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Employment with ESU #3 is not governed by any express or implied contract of employment containing terms different from or inconsistent with those stated in this job description. The terms of this job description may not be modified except in a writing signed by the ESU #3 Administrator.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
