Business Systems Analyst 3

PayPal, Inc. seeks, Business Systems Analyst 3 in La Vista, Nebraska.
Job Duties: Support Global Operations users in their data exploration, analysis, research and standard reporting. Work with data architects and engineers to create offline data products and data-warehouse or Hadoop based solutions. Capture business requirements and produce technical requirements for backend data processing and delivery. Collaborate among cross-functional teams for effective solution-building or issue-resolutions. Influence, support and contribute to the development of PayPals data strategies. Leverage strong analytical skills, critical thinking capabilities, and in-depth understanding of PayPals data to collaborate with business users and engineers to build robust and scalable solutions that would help drive Business decisions
Minimum Requirements: Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience in the field of business analytics or Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or closely related quantitative discipline and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of business analytics.
Special Skill Requirements: Experience with data modeling, ETL, BI for data manipulations for financial analysis, data mining or statistical modeling; Informatica; BTEQ; SQL Databases including Oracle, Teradata and Hadoop; PIG; Hive; Unix Scripting and Teradata Performance. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
