None Essential Requirements:
No history of child abuse or negligence.
Successfully pass required background checks.
Regular and dependable in person attendance is required and is considered a condition of employment.
Degree and/or experience in computer systems for financial management, payroll, student information, absence/timeclock management and others as required.
Extensive experience in the management of administrative data systems and database management to include SQL Server 2017
and report writing software.
Excellent computer skills, oral and written communication skills.
Essential
Responsibilities:
Understand and comply with the ESU #3 Board of Education Personnel Policies and Employee Handbook.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality while working with sensitive information.
Ability to write SQL, SSIS packages & establish needed workflows to automate tasks in conjunction with ESU#3.
Use of complex expressions to calculate, group, filter, parameterize, optimize and format custom reports using report writing software (i.
e.
Google Looker Studio, Power BI, Infomaker, etc.
).
Maintain existing reports.
Must have advanced Excel skills to include vertical lookups, horizontal lookups, advanced formulas, filtering and the ability to work with complex datasets in multiple tabs and workbooks.
Serve as a liaison between ESU#3 and district staff.
Ensure that staff data to support local, state and federal reporting is available for those identified data requirements.
Support and maintain the district's student information system, including documentation for internal tasks as well as training documentation.
Provide technical support to district staff members in the use of the student information and learning systems.
Plan for training district staff members as needed during upgrades and enhancements to data systems.
Ensure that needed reports and data requests are available in a timely manner.
Works with directors & supervisors to plan future upgrades and enhancements to systems.
Works with other team members across district departments to maintain employee and student accounts with applicable life cycle policies.
Looks for and recommends improvements to automate various district systems to improve efficiencies and maintain clean, operational systems.
Ability to work in a team environment while being student and team oriented.
Assist in supporting the district's data and technology teams goals as needed.
Assign, route, and monitor open tickets via helpdesk software and phone calls Attends external meetings as needed.
Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Other duties as assigned.
